Orchitis is testicle inflammatory lesion caused by various
bacteria and virus. It can be classified into non-specific orchitis, virus
orchitis, bacterial orchitis, spirochetal orchitis, parasitic orchitis, scathing
orchitis, and chemical orchitis and so on. Specific orchitis always caused by
the invasion of tuberculosis of epididymis, so it is very rarely. The most
common orchitis are non-specific orchitis and mumps orchitis, and this disease
also is one of the most common infertility reasons.
Acute non-specific orchitis: Acute non-specific orchitis always
happens on those patients who have cystitis, prostatitis, urethritis and catheter.
When inflammations spread to epididyms via lymph or seminiferous duct, it is epididymo-orchitis.
Its common bacterial causes are escherichia coli, proteusbacillus vulgaris, staphylococcus
and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc. those bacteria can spread to testicles via
blood stream to make men have simple orchitis. However, this situation is very
rarely, because the blood circulations in testicle are sufficient and the
resistance of bacteria is strong too.
